Radiation therapy has been executed by using the x-rays so that tumors can be reduced quickly as well as to kill the mesothelioma cells. There are two types of radiation therapy which have been used to kill the cancer cells i.e. first one is called external radiation therapy and second one is called brachytherapy.
Through external therapy, x-rays have been used to locate the cancer cells so that they can be removed easily. And in brachytherapy, chemicals have been injected into the body where the cancer has been developed.
The second type of mesothelioma is called chemotherapy, in which treatment has done with the help of drugs which has been injected into the body and which then move towards the destination with the help of circulation of blood. These two therapies have been using for the sake of removing cancer but patient also has to face the side affects too.
