If you are looking for web design jobs then you should start locally and then put out your resume on the internet. I was looking earlier this year and relocated to a different state to work for a very reputable web design company. I really did not want to move but could not pass up the opportunity to work for this particular web design company. When people recognize the company you work for, it feels good.

I responded to about twenty different help wanted ads before getting three interviews. Thank goodness that the web design company, that hired me, was the last of the three so I could say yes right away.

They could work from home for some of the positions and for some they would have to relocate like I did.
