His Used IBM Was Replaced
When we took our used ibm computer into have it repaired, the repair man told us that he had not seen a computer that old in quite some time. My husband never throws anything away, and as long as this used ibm is still fixable, he will not buy a new one. It is very slow, and shuts itself off all the time but he continues to use it.
Our teenagers just laugh at him when he has to reboot it four times, just to check his email. They have told him that he could just get a new used ibm computer and retire the old one, but he will not hear of it.
The kids have even offered to help him pick it out; they said that on the website where they bought their two pseries servers, they have some good used computers that come with a guarantee. They have assured him that he would be able to check his email in record time if he bought the new one.
The computer store called and told him that it would cost two hundred dollars to fix his old ibm. The kids showed him that he can get the new used ibm computer for one hundred and fifty dollars. I think that he is actually going to order it from the site where they got their pseries servers.
