Helping out
It was autumn when my mom asked our dad to give our house an overhaul. It’s been standing for ten years, and the sigh of the cracks, old paint jobs, the termites living in the door posts and the cabinets is just bad. So with everyone of us, me, and my two other brothers Nathan and Joseph, helped out when the packing supplies came to store away our properties temporarily while our house is being cleaned for renovation. It was fun! I never helped in the errands and the cleaning, but this time seeing it was just awesome that I wanted to help out. Nathan was enjoying himself too, even though now and then the dust will just trigger his asthma!
When we’ve got all the packing done, the movers got or stuff to one of their mobile storage units for temporary placement. We can see out house being redone and in a week’s time, it looks like its brand new! No more moms nagging about the nasty cracked walls! We liked how it looks. But the best thing about this overhauling, is that we’ve learned to enjoy packing and taking up our stuff together as if we’ve used to doing this. I have learned to help out.
