My husbands loving his HP storage

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

Mike and I are married for four years. Yesterday was our fourth wedding anniversary. Weeks before our anniversary really stressed me out. I was wondering what to give him because last year he surprised me with a trip to Bahamas and now it’s my turn to do something for him.

Mike is a Web Designer for two years. Last week I saw him working a project and he was so bothered. I asked him what’s been bothering him. He said he doesn’t have enough space to store a data and that he needed to delete an important one on his laptop. He also said that HP Storage is the answer.

I surfed the net trying to find the HP BladeSystem he needed but it was so expensive. I can’t afford to buy those. I think it’s better to buy refurbished item because it’s much cheaper.  I ordered one in the net and after a couple of days I already have it.

The day that I’ve been waiting for came. I prepared dinner for him and gave him the gift I got him. He was so happy when he opened the box. He hugged me so tight and whispered I love you.

Leasing iSeries Servers - Reducing Business Start up Cost

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

I am planning to start my IT business next month and I am currently searching for best ways to reduce the start up business cost or capital that I would need to invest to get started. Its good thing there is an online store that can let me lease or rent IBM iseries server and other essential products that I need to get started.

This store really helps me in getting started with my business successfully as well as it can also efficiently answer all my business needs. As a beginner in this industry, working with this online store is really beneficial. They can also provide quality used and new iSeries Server that I certainly need for my business. For, now I am leasing the systems but I believe that if I continue working with this online store then I could easily purchase at least the professionally refurbished systems that they has to offer and gain my first business assets. Operating my business with this online store is really great, I am just starting my business and yet I can clearly imagine and feel my success in the future!

Setting up the Office with the help of a Computer Networking Service Raleigh Company

Friday, August 13th, 2010

Setting up an office is not an easy task as what I had discovered when I was setting up mine.  Business was doing well and I knew that it was time to move out of my small home office and set up one downtown.  Aside from hiring the right people, finding the right tools like computers and printers and other office machines is indeed tiring.   There are just lots of them available in the market which will make you even more confused once you read the brochures and reviews online.

To make the work easy for me, I went in search for a computer networking service Raleigh company that was a one stop shop for all my needs.  Good thing that I was able to find several of them.  I met up with their representatives to discuss the needs of my small office.  All were accommodating and helpful in suggesting possible solutions for my office.  However, it all boils down to cost and after-sales support since I do not have an in-house IT guy.

Since there is no IT department to do the maintenance for me, I needed a reliable business server Durham NC firm that could do that for me.  I just reviewed the proposals sent and I have made my decision on who to choose.

Home Based Internet Store

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

Emma and I started our own IT business a month ago. We based our office in our home in LA. Soon enough, there are clients from all over the internet asking about our products. As we are a database of many internet stores for home made products, there were many people, especially moms, who were interested in our services. Their products range from homemade jams to crocheted table ware, to tote bags and baby shoes. Many advertisers also wanted to put their promotions in our site, and we were pleased at the initial development of our company. Because of the number of data that comes in almost every minute, we have a trusted HP Storage to keep our figures safe and secure.

We had our small beginnings, but this been a good progress so far. We started out with reused servers and an HP SAN, bought from reseller stress of used computer gadgets and equipments. It served us well, and brought much profit to us and to those whom we cater. Buying second hand is a good deal is you use them well. These equipments have been reliable so far; we got the best deal at buying refurbished items. I and my friend Emma can attest to that.

Keeping it Clean and Green

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

BPO Industry is a very costly industry to maintain with.  As the Head of the IT Maintenance Department I make sure that there should never be a down time error.  The underlying pressure is in keeping these IT assets functional in real time all the time.

The most used and running around the clock equipment is the hosting server.  Our company uses IBM xSeries Servers.  It is the best and the most reliable server there is.  It has proven its worth in the IT industry not just for multinational company like us but for small to mid size business too.

IT Maintenance holds a major task in making sure that all the devices and equipment are working properly 24/7.  Yet it is inevitable that there are IT assets that could not be refurbished anymore and disposing them is the only way to get rid of them and not crowd the IT Storage Area.

Our dilemma was solved when we partnered with the company that helped in disposing the Used xSeries servers.  We were confident that we would not harm Mother Earth since the company had passed all the federal and state rules and regulations in keeping the environment clean and green.

I am proud to say that our company has and never will be the cause of the planet’s destruction.

Choosing the Right One

Monday, June 7th, 2010

My son has just started college and I was thinking of buying him a computer for himself. But my problem lies in the fact that I do not know too much about computers. So I went online and checked the net for suitable brands that might be the best choice for my boy. This one particular company caught my eye it is about the IBM pSeries.

As I browsed their site I learned that they offer a lot of brands and their customer support is good as well. I talked to my son about it and he said that it was a good brand; I ordered it then and there. My son knows a lot about computers; he was the one that did the setup (or whatever they call that term) and made it work. I’m proud of myself for choosing the right computer for him, and I’m sure he feels the same way. I just hope that he takes good care of it! But if ever anything happens to it, I still have the warranty. As long as I have that then I guess I don’t have to worry about a thing.

I was glad he liked his new computer, now I could buy a Used pSeries Servers  for myself.

20 Years of experience and still counting

20 years is a long time especially for an IT supermarket that houses every IT needs. Tech superstore had withstood 2 decades, earning their reputation as one of the best tech store and reseller around! Their products go from new networking equipments and even Used IBM servers to other branded system names like HP, Dell and Compaq, to name a few. With the advancement of technology moving on so fast, it is great to hear that there is one store that can still provide your entire tech needs may it be of the latest trend or not.

This IT store helps its clients to resell and recycle unused or excess equipment. All of their procedures for recycling is environment friendly and is done with compliance to the regulatory guidelines. You could also trade in your old equipments for new ones here so that you could save off a few bucks to minimize your expenses.  20 years and still counting, this company is a name you can trust and rely on when it comes to your technology needs.

Been Comparing The Poweredge To Other Servers

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

I have been comparing the dell poweredge servers to those of other brands and I keep coming back to the poweredge. I guess that since it got such high ratings in the normal tests that are run on them, it makes me think that I should stop looking and just buy the poweredge servers before I change my mind.

I found a site that offers the poweredge servers at a really competitive price. I started looking into their site more and found that they offer dell repair also. I have at least four coworkers in my office that have dell computers and they are always having a really tough time getting a computer tech to fix them so this may help them out too.

I discussed buying the poweredge servers with all of them and they think that it is a good idea. I know that Sally, the one that sits behind me, has no idea what a server is or does, but she said that it sounded like a good idea to her. I know that Sally has a dell computer; I am going to make sure that she knows all about this company when I go into work in the morning.

New Scanners From Used Point Of Sale Equipment Site

Monday, January 4th, 2010

My only hope to get new handheld scanners and new monitors for the cash registers that I could afford was to buy used ones. I knew that there was a pretty good site that sold used point of sale equipment and I had never used it before, but had looked at it a few months ago thinking that it would be nice to get some newer products.

The handheld scanners would not stay on for more than half an hour and my clerks could not get the entire inventory completed like they needed to. I had been catching all the heat from the boss’s but I explained the situation of the scanners and they approved the purchase of some used pos equipment that would help us get the inventory done correctly and quickly.

I ordered some scanners and two new monitors for the cash registers since two of them were really hard to read with the small cracks that were in the screens. I did not pay even half of what I would have if I had bought new from the used point of sale equipment. I was happy when the used pos equipment people emailed me and said that my order would be delivered in less than forty eight hours.

Found Two Big Poweredge Servers To Install

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

The only way that I could ever afford new servers for my office, would be if I took out a loan or something. The way that the economy and the credit markets are, right now, that was really not an option. I knew that we needed to get some bigger servers to handle the growing office but until we just did not have the disposable income to buy new ones at this time.

I thought about buying used servers and my whole office figured that it was better than nothing. They all started searching in local computer shops for used servers that were big enough, still in good working order and most importantly, priced low. I found two used poweredge servers in a computer shop down the street from my gym and put money down on them so that they would not sell them until my computer guy could come and take a look at them.

My computer guy checked out the used poweredge servers and within twenty four hours of that, he was able to install them in place of the smaller ones that were just not pulling their weight in the office. We have had the used servers now for about six months and they are working perfectly.
