Compiling The World Current Events Of The Day

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

My long list of world current events that I compiled to look over is really growing. I thought that I could just take the morning newspaper and get everything that I needed for my notes. Then, it seemed that about every half hour, the news stations on the television were reporting other breaking stories.

I wanted to just stop watching the television but I knew that I had to make sure that my list was current. If you report on world current events and you do not have the updates, or something comes along that is of much more importance then no one will take you seriously.

This will be the first time that I am in charge of reporting to my class. I have seen people who have been assigned this before me, really know what they are talking about and some that have no idea what they are doing. I would like to not fall in the latter category. It will be hard enough to speak in front of the entire class, but not feeling like I know what I am talking about, would be even worse. I should find out if I will be graded on my presentation, or just my content. That could make a world of difference too with how nervous I will be.

Working For An Arizona Private Party Band

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

I am currently playing in an Arizona wedding music band and love it. I was introduced to them about a year ago and they were looking for a drummer and I was looking for someone to play drums with. I never thought that it would turn into a full time gig but it has. We have become a very well known Phoenix private party band also so we have somewhere to be almost five nights a week.

I love the fact that people know us as both an Arizona wedding music band and also a Phoenix private party band. It leaves the door open to so many more jobs and we enjoy every single one of them. It is a different kind of crowd every time and that makes it very interesting.

Mom and I Got Free Mobile TV

Monday, April 12th, 2010

When the girl at the cell phone store, told me that I could watch free phone TV, I made her show me exactly how that could be done. I am always stuck in traffic or on the bus and to be able to have free mobile TV would be fabulous. She went through exactly what I had to do, and it was so easy. It was just streaming live and I did not have to download anything.

I went home to show my mother and she was so amazed to see free mobile TV coming from my phone. I knew that she would use this feature, but she had a very old cell phone that would not be able to do this cool feature, so I bought her a new one and pulled it out and surprised her. She thought that during her lunch break at work, she might enjoy it and so did I.

As soon as I left the room, I heard her pick up the house phone and call one of her friends and tell them all about the new phone and the free phone TV that I had just gotten for her. She was very proud that I had taken the time to get her a new phone and how I showed her the steps to getting the TV to come on for it.
