Selling Silver for Something Important

Wednesday, January 11th, 2012

When people talk about selling silver, the first thing that goes in my mind was online trades. My way of thinking is caused by having a lot of friends that sell their silver coins and accessories online. I was very curious on how their online transactions take place and I even checked the website that they use to make those transactions.

I also plan to sell old silver dollar coins a few days from now, to buy a game that will be released at the end of the month. I had been waiting for this game to come out for half a year and I even made a reservation, to be one of the first few to try it out. My friends think that I am weird but I don’t really mind. It is not something that they can comprehend and I won’t bother to make them understand my reasons for wanting that game badly. I also know that I should refrain from selling my silver coins, unless it is something really important. I know that I made the right decision and I also want to live my life without having any regrets whatsoever.

The first time to sell old coins

Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

My friends and I like to buy all sorts of things. We just get whatever we like and we spend a lot of cash that way. There were times that I wasn’t able to join them in their “shopping sprees” because I’m out of cash. It’s a good thing that my grandpa sent me a few old coins for my birthday. There was this online site that buys old coins for a good price. The process to sell old coins was something new to me. I thought that it was just some kind of scam in the internet and I was relieved that the online store was authentic.

The money I got from selling coins was enough to help me “bounce back” to my hobby. I know that I should save a little every now and then, but it really is a hard habit to break. I promised myself that I will change that habit of mine little by little. I was able to control my urges over the years and I became better in handling money. I know that with discipline, I will be able to change myself for the better.

Sell Old Jewelry for family Pleasure Trips

Thursday, October 6th, 2011

It’s been a long time that I have been thinking, what if I sell old jewelry, not all of them but some so I could treat my family together with my grand children to a European tour.  That would surely delight each and everyone.  So one fateful night, I called my children and ask them to block a week schedule for Christmas because I wanted all of us to gather and go on tour. I didn’t tell them that it was a European tour yet, all I said was they have to get ready with their passports.  That whole week, my children and grand children have been calling me to ask me where we were going.  But I just kept mum about until I close the deal with a jeweler that even when you sell scrap jewelry they accept it at a good price.

So within the week I sold some of my diamonds, gold and scrap jewelry, and got a good deal of money also.  When I finally divulge to my children on where we were going they were so elated.   The trip was a blast for all of us. We had fun and we are more bonded to each other after that.  I never regretted selling my jewelries.

Gold Business with the Help of Online Jewelry Store

Thursday, October 6th, 2011

From the first time I sell birthstones for cash St Petersburg to an online jeweler, I came up with the idea of buying and selling jewelry as my business. I know that the online jeweler can be trusted when it comes to pricing the gold that is being sold to them. I started collecting gold necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings from my friends, colleagues and family and I sell them to the online store.

I even send them bulk jewels and the transactions are very smooth. This business is truly amazing. I am earning without having a hard time or difficulties. With just a few clicks on my computer, I can earn an ample amount of money. Actually, this is not about fooling people, they wanted me to buy their jewels and of course, as a businessman, I will examine it and buy it on a lower price. They will agree and the deal is closed.

The fine jewelry store Tampa Fl helps me in recognizing the worth of a gold jewelry. Their jewelers are all experienced and they have enough training to do the work. With this kind of business, you need to earn the trust of your customers and the jewelry store is good at it. That’s why I know that our business will be fruitful in just a matter of time.

Selling Old Jewelry to this Jeweler Restored my Faith

Friday, September 23rd, 2011

Faith and trust in a dealer, I mean. The first time I had to sell jewelry was through a local store. If only I had known better. I was so frustrated in the end when I found out that I can get so much more for them. Another time, I needed instant money so I had no choice but to deal with a pawnshop that offered me a slightly lower rate than the store.

Good thing I only sold a few pieces and kept the most valuable ones in case of emergency. Third time’s the charm, as they say. A few weeks ago I needed to sell scrap jewelry for a family situation, and this time I intend to get the best deal possible. I looked around on how people go through selling old jewelry, and I came across a jeweler who has been in business for many years. I called them up and the person I spoke with was really knowledgeable. She assured me that they have in-house gemologists who estimate the jewelries’ value as soon as they get them. And they also give a higher rate compared to other stores. After it all, I am relieved that nothing bad happened. I was not scammed at all, plus I got an amount much more than expected. If I need to sell scrap jewelry again, I will not hesitate to deal with this jeweler.

Selling Jewelry to Make a Sound Finances

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

One of toughest jobs of a single parent is meeting financial obligations. It’s hard to make ends meet if you will just rely in a single job. I even juggle from one job to the other but I always still short of funds. I could not think for any solution but to sell old jewelry which I inherited mostly from my mother. I thought of passing it through to my offspring but I needed immediate cash.

I sorted out all my jewelries and choose the least favorite cut to pawned or sell it to a local pawnshop. I headed to a shop asking about the appraisal value for my jewelries and the difference between pawning it and selling old jewelry outright. Once I have money from it, I could refinance my debt and loan it for my daughter’s college tuition.

It may be an  odd feeling that after years of relishing and keeping your jewelry , then suddenly you decided to pawn or sell it just to pay off your bills and get back to a sound finances. I realized that it’s not a bad idea to sell or pawn jewelry.

Who to Sell Silver To

Monday, June 6th, 2011

You own a big collection of silver stuff, from jewelry to utensils and now you are running out of space to put them in. Your solution is to dispose of them so you can get new ones or just shift to another hobby. The question that first pops in your head is this: who do you sell silver to?

For many people the answer would be obvious; try selling silver to jewelry stores. But like all buy and sell businesses, it’s not that easy to do especially with high value items like silver jewelry. Like carcasses in the desert, they also attract a lot of vultures that are quick to pounce at the first instance of indecision. Scam artists are always on the prowl looking for people to victimize which is why knowing the features of a reputable buyer really helps.

Legitimate buyers are licensed and registered business operators. They appraise jewelry out in the open and don’t charge fees for doing it. They conduct transactions in their own offices and not in some back alleys where anything bad can happen.

Article on how to sell coins

Friday, April 29th, 2011

I read an article on how to sell coins on a magazine and what I’ve learned from it changed my perspective. My father has been collecting old silver coins when I was young and he said that he is going to give the coins to me, when I get older. Now, I understood what he meant when he said those words and I rummaged through my belongings in search of the coins that he has entrusted to me. It took me a while but I found them and looked at them with interest for the first time.

I decided not to sell old coins for the time being because I don’t find any reason to do so. I know that I will be able to put them in good use someday and if I don’t, then my son or daughters would probably do. I suddenly felt the need to talk to my dad again and that is what I deed. We talked for an hour or two on the phone and it was something that we had never done before. I thanked him for the collection that he has given me years ago and told him that I will come over for a visit, before the month is over.

Selling My Wedding Ring

Wednesday, March 30th, 2011

My husband and I had been divorced for more than a year now and there is no hope for reconciliation. I can’t help but remember him, whenever I see our wedding ring and I knew that it was time to let it go. I went to the jewelry store near my work place and decided to sell wedding ring. The ring that has witnessed the hopeless relationship that we had after our marriage will be gone forever.

I heard that this store is the best place, when you sell diamond jewelry. There were a few items in their collection that caught my interest and I wondered, if the money that I will get from my wedding ring will be enough to get a new accessory for myself. After getting my appraisal, I found out that I only need to add a few more, to purchase the diamond necklace that I saw on their display. I didn’t think twice and bought it right away. To me, this is the proof that I had finally moved forward on my previous relationship. I hope that the next man that I will fall in love with will be better than the first.

Classes start soon - thanks to jewelry sold

Friday, August 27th, 2010

My son is going to take up a computer course after graduating high school. He passed the entrance exam at a school abroad. He always wanted to have a laptop of his own. We do have a desktop computer but since he is going to leave soon to study abroad, he really needs to have one.

Classes will start next month so we urgently need to buy a laptop for him but we have to consider important things he might need for his self. Clothes, food and stuff needed for school is our main priority.

My husband and I decided to sell jewelry of his mother’s. We are running out of time, so we really need to sell old jewelry as soon as we can. We went to some jewelry stores trying to figure out how much were those jewelry’s real price then and now. The original price tripled. It is more valuable now and expensive to buy for. We have gone to many jewelry buyer shops in the town but the price was not enough.

I asked my friend to search for a jewelry buyer online. She found one and a well-known online buyer for 30 years. I sold those jewelries for a good price and after receiving a check; we bought a brand new laptop.
