The Mark of a Muay Thai Fighter
Tuesday, November 1st, 2011My Muay Thai Training Thailand experience in learning the art of this contact sport has left me with more than just scar marks; it has molded a real fighter in me. Tall and lanky as I am, I always became the butt of the joke in junior high. But what they used to mock me of is in truth, a very powerful tool. And this, I have discovered to use to win in life. It was the only way to stop the bullying. And it had to stop soon.
I got interested in Muay Thai not to compete. I was just drawn to it one day when I saw how agile a fighter was in the octagon. He wasn’t much of a body to begin with. In fact, he was so much more like me. When he won against his rival, I knew I just had to learn it. And so, I convinced my dad to give to me as a gift my plane fare all the way to Thailand so that I can choose from the Muay Thai camps in Thailand.
