The only way that I could ever afford new servers for my office, would be if I took out a loan or something. The way that the economy and the credit markets are, right now, that was really not an option. I knew that we needed to get some bigger servers to handle the growing office but until we just did not have the disposable income to buy new ones at this time.

I thought about buying used servers and my whole office figured that it was better than nothing. They all started searching in local computer shops for used servers that were big enough, still in good working order and most importantly, priced low. I found two used poweredge servers in a computer shop down the street from my gym and put money down on them so that they would not sell them until my computer guy could come and take a look at them.

My computer guy checked out the used poweredge servers and within twenty four hours of that, he was able to install them in place of the smaller ones that were just not pulling their weight in the office. We have had the used servers now for about six months and they are working perfectly.

I was hoping to find some used hp servers online but was having to sort through all the junk that people were trying to sell and I was just about to give up. I just happened to stumble upon a site that had good deals on used proliant servers along with a few other used hp servers. I really thought that it would do the trick but I was wrong.

I then decided that maybe I should just find a company that made footed pajamas for eight year olds. I was able to find one online and I ordered just one pair of footed pajamas to just test out on him. They arrived on a Monday morning and that night, I pulled them out for my son to wear. He was very excited to see that they still had the feet in them and he fit them very well.

I knew that I had made my son happy and I was thrilled to not see him running around in toddler pajamas with the feet cut out because he was so tall. I am ordering four more pairs of footed pajamas this evening and then throwing out all the old small ones that we have.

My only regret when firing the old office supply provider we used to have, was not telling the owner what an idiot he was for thinking that people were actually stupid enough to pay the prices he had just raised his products to.

I was made aware of the price increase when my secretary brought me a copy of it that had been faxed over. I compared it to the price list that we had from their old prices and it was a thirty percent hike in prices. I wonder how he thinks that anyone running a business in this economy can pay a thirty percent increase for anything.

I immediately called and cancelled our standing monthly order. I guess that they had never heard of discount office supplies, the new company that I am going to switch to. I had been looking at them a few months ago and wondering if by switching, we would get the same kind of service or not. I do not even care about the service now; I am going with discount office supplies. Maybe sometime in the future, the old office supply provider will figure out that you cannot just raise prices like that, maybe when his company goes under.

The twenty four ports used cisco switch that I had in the back of my cisco repair van was stolen last night. I have already called the cops to see if they would be willing to come out and prepare a police report so that I can turn it into my insurance company. My own vehicles have been broken into many times but never my work van. I am wondering if the person who stole the port switch knew what it was. By itself, it does not look like much but a big black box. Now, if they knew what it was then they would know that it cost about two thousand dollars and they might be able to sell it for at least half of that.

This cisco repair job has got to be the best job that I have ever had, so I hope that I do not lose it over this incident. If they want me to start leaving my cisco repair van at the office then I will to save my job. It is very convenient though to not have to drive the twenty minutes to the office to pick it up every day.

I am always worried that I will hire a contractor that is going to walk away with my money and not complete the job or worse, complete it and it will have to be redone. I thought of looking for just a garage building company that only specializes in that area, but there were not any on the BBB list. So, I know that if I find a general contractor that also doubles as a garage building company that I will be getting the best of both worlds when I hire them.

I am looking to increase the value of my home by adding on a three car garage, since I have no garage at all right now, I think that it will add triple the amount of just a one stall garage. The garage building company that I hire should know more about that and I will make sure that I will get triple the value or I may rethink my whole concept.
